After recently getting back into the band's music with their most recent release at the time, Simulation Theory, this was my first ever concert. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced, with incredible stage design, everything looked and sounded incredible.

Almost 3 years after my first Muse concert, I wanted to make sure I could get to see them again as soon as possible. This gig was the second time the band played live since the start of the pandemic. This show remains my favourite to this day, the setlist was perfect and after listening to their music practically non stop since 2019, it was one of the best nights of my life.

Just over a year after the Apollo in London, Muse returned to Devon, the place where they grew up. While this show did not have the same incredible setlist that was featured in May 2022, the setlist was filled with new songs that I had wanted to hear live, plus both the support acts were superb, one of which, Royal Blood, have become one of my favourite artists alongside Muse. All of this on a beautiful, warm day to top it off.

Muse announced 4 extra dates to be played in the UK and Ireland a month after they kicked their European tour off in Plymouth. I'm glad that this was the case as if they were announced at the same time, I probably would have only gone to this date, but I am very glad that I got to go to both.
